Tit Heaven is a series of watercolours made by Lisa Yuskavage between 1991 and 1993, exploring both the subject and the medium in paintings where breast forms mingle with fruit and flowers in a colourful bouquet of sensuality. The ambiguity is deliberate – are those boobs or peaches, nipples or cherries?

And does this make the paintings erotic, or more akin to the still lifes of the seventeenth century Dutch masters? All is in the eye of the beholder.
