Mazzotti’s best-known work, Fantasmes, consists of three volumes of short erotic narratives published between 2013 and 2021 in Delcourt’s Erotix collection. Typically four to ten pages long, the stories explore sexual fantasy, seduction, relationships and everyday encounters, often with a distinctly comic twist. Many of the stories, especially in the first two volumes, are reissues of Mazzotti material which had previously appeared in the Selen présente list, which helps explain noticeable differences in style and colouring.

The trilogy began with Fantasmes 1: Les copines de classe (Classmates), published in June 2013. Its fifteen short stories range from schoolday encounters to more unexpected situations involving travel, work, domestic life and seduction. We have included the first eight:
