Florizel describes her Amorous Bodies project as ‘a celebration of the beauty of human connection; a unique and personal work of art inspired by intimate moments and fantasies.’ Conceived as a reaction to the continued censorship and taboo characterisation of sexual expression, the project invites people to submit photographic references and commission their own unique and personal monochrome ink wash composition based on them.

The result, currently more than sixty such small works just six inches square, can be seen on Florizel’s website. Taken together, they celebrate the variety of sexual sharing, creating a rich landscape of curves, contours and contrasts.
